Yuliya + Vladamir | Rustic Raleigh Elopement

Yuliya and Vladamir have tied the knot! These two started dating in Ukraine where Vladamir still lives and have been keeping their relationship long distance for the past four years. Yuliya has been living in the states to go to school for graphic design, and contacted me for some photographs when her sweetie came into town for a visit. These two are such a beautiful couple! I am so in love with Yuliya’s flowered headband and high-low skirt. And how about those six inch heels?! This girl has got some serious style! Plus, I’m pretty sure that Vladamir’s suit is the coolest I have ever seen.

For their session, we decided to go for a little mix of urban and rural landscapes. We started out at a Raleigh park where Yuliya and Vladamir effortlessly posed among the barns and cotton field. Honestly, these two are just naturals in front of the camera! Then, we headed over to Boylan bridge in downtown Raleigh for the sunset. Yuliya and Vladamir were married earlier in the week and were full of joy and romance. I am so happy to have been able to photograph this wonderful time in their lives! After the session, we hung out at my favorite restaurant, Boylan Bridge Brewpub, where I learned all about their lives and culture.
