Morton Arboretum Wedding at The Ginko Room & Restaurant Venue
Stephanie was one of my best friends and roommates in college. We both went to Northern Illinois University and met as freshmen in the dorms. When we first started hanging out, I’d hear her talk about her “best guy friend” Cale all the time. When I finally got the chance to meet Cale, I couldn’t help but think about how perfect he was for Steph. I mean, if there was any one person in the world made for Stephrod (that’s what we all called her) it was Cale. You have no idea how happy I was the day Steph told me that she and Cale decided to hop out of the friend zone and start dating. And I was even happier when she told me they were engaged.
As you can see, Stephanie and Cale planned their wedding at the beautiful Morton Arboretum located just outside of Chicago. The Morton Arboretum hosts a large area of land-much of it kept wild and natural. And, as you can imagine, I had a field day here. They day of their wedding was a rainy one, but we scouted out some of the coolest spots around the park. We rode around on the Acorn Express with the whole wedding party just before the bottom fell out. And although Stephrod and Cale were really hoping for an outdoor ceremony, the whole day was just so much fun. We got to see old friends from college, meet all of their families, and capture an epic night in our friends’ lives.
