Jocelyn + Josh | Biltmore Estate Asheville Engagement

Josh and Jocelyn are just about the sweetest people we have ever had the pleasure of working with. This session felt more like a hangout than anything else. Their love for each other makes our jobs all too easy. :) In planning their engagement session, Jocelyn and Josh suggested meeting up in Asheville. Josh had proposed to Jocelyn in front of the Biltmore and it meant a lot to them. Plus we’ll take any excuse to head out that way, so no big deal. The day of the session, we were blessed with beautiful weather and a gorgeous sunset. We met up in downtown Asheville to enjoy a root beer float before wandering around to some of mine and Josh’s favorite alleyways. The light and shadows were just perfect. After spending a bit of time out there, we decided to head over to the Biltmore Estate to finish off the session and catch the sunset.

The Biltmore Estate is such a fantastic place. There is so much to do and see, you could really spend a week there without getting bored. Outside of the house, I really love the conservatory. The Biltmore conservatory is basically a giant greenhouse surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens. I’ve seen weddings done here and they look absolutely amazing (hint hint nudge nudge). Josh and Jocelyn wandered through the tropical plants while Josh and I snapped some candids. We then headed over to the main Biltmore Estate to look over the mountains and catch the sunset. Man that scenery does not get old. After a great session, we headed on over to Mellow Mushroom in Asheville for some post session pizza.
