Julie + Ken | Raleigh North Hills Club Reception

This summer, Julie and Ken got married on the gorgeous island of Antigua. They had an intimate beach ceremony surrounded by their closest family. After enjoying a few days on the island, these newlyweds flew home to celebrate with the rest of the family and friends in a big reception at the North Hills Club in Raleigh. The reception started out with a viewing of Julie and Ken’s Sandals wedding ceremony video. As soon as we watched their first kiss, the venue’s doors opened to introduce the bride and groom and the party got started. Sticking with the theme of their destination wedding, Julie and Ken had the room decorated in beachy details. The tables were topped with gorgeous sand filled candle holders, starfish, and seashells- all carefully made by the mother of the bride! Gigi’s Cupcakes also added to the island vibe with an awesome dessert table. The starfish cake toppers were just adorable! Julie and Ken danced away the evening to their favorite tunes. There was a great mix of oldies thrown in including Elvis and Julie’s favorite band, The Eagles (my favorite band too). Ken even got hold of the mic for a little bit of karaoke, which seems fitting because that is exactly how he proposed to Julie. Needless to say, we had a great time hanging out with these two! The night ended with a sparkler send-off before Julie and Ken headed off to start their new life together as husband and wife.
